Questions for the forum
For 2009 we are going to think about collecting and the moving image. We have many questions around the relationships between artists and collectors, academies and galleries, making, distributing and accessing the work. We will focus onto hybrid functions and hybrid strategies. We will have invited guest speakers and many of the artists selected.
Keep an eye on this pages - we want to start the conversation here, before meeting you all in the gallery. You can register and contribute to the on line open forum too.

Hi Benoit, Thanks for your question. I think your project is very interesting and shows the versatility and variety of moving image practice. It opens up a discussion about how media are separated and classified: your work sits at the crossroad between moving image and new media. Visions as a project does not focus explicitly on new technologies, which reduces greatly funding and other opportunities. We would love to see your work in flesh and technology (!) at Visions. Let’s see what is possible.
